'A' Service
A Service – every 15,000km or 12 months (whichever comes first)
INTERIOR
- Function check
- Check warning and indicator lamps, illumination and interior lighting
- Check windscreen wiper, windscreen washer system, headlamp cleaning system
- Reset maintenance service counter in instrument cluster
WHEELS, BRAKES
- Check brake pads for lining thickness
- Check tyres for damage, condition
- Measure tread depth, record in mm
- Correct tyre inflation pressure
ENGINE COMPARTMENT
- Change engine oil and filter
- Fluid level checks of the following: Engine cooling system, windshield washer system, power steering fluid & brake fluid
- Check catch, safety catch and hinges on bonnet for proper operation
BOOT
- Correct tyre inflation pressure in spare tyre
'B' Service
B Service – every 30,000km or 24 months (whichever comes first)
INTERIOR
- Function check & full vehicle diagnostic scan
- Check warning and indicator lamps, illumination and interior lighting
- Check windscreen wiper, windscreen washer system, headlamp cleaning system
- Reset maintenance service counter in instrument cluster
- Check parking brake (function test only)
- Replace dust or combination filter (where applicable)
WHEELS, BRAKES
- Check condition/thickness of brake discs
- Check brake pads for lining thickness
- Check tyres for damage, condition
- Measure tread depth, record in mm
- Correct tyre inflation pressure
UNDERSIDE OF VEHICLE
- Check for major components leakage
- Check for chafe marks, line routing, damaged components
- Check condition of front axle ball joints and rubber boots
- Check condition of mechanical steering components and rubber boots
- Check condition of driveshaft couplings
ENGINE COMPARTMENT
- Change engine oil and filter
- Fluid level checks of the following: Engine cooling system, windshield washer system, power steering fluid & brake fluid
- Check catch, safety catch and hinges on bonnet for proper operation
- Check for major components leakage
- Check for chafe marks, line routing, damaged components
- Check engine cooling system, antifreeze and corrosion protection
- Check brake system
- Check power steering components
- Check battery condition
- Check condition of poly V-belt
BOOT
- Correct tyre inflation pressure in spare tyre
- Check battery condition
